Standard Williams Blaupunkt Stereo Dash Controller

Does the steering column controller have a separate connector to the back of the head unit or does it connect (somehow) through the 2 normal stereo connections?

Reason I ask is that I have bought a standard unit and intend to fit it, and I want the steering column controller to work, but because the previous owner butchered all of the stereo wires I have no idea which wire does what.

    Hopefully this makes sense :-/

It has a plug connection on the end which just plugs in next to the two normal stereo wire plugs.

I thought so. Sadly I have no connector, and only have a load of wires hanging out of the car.

Any idea where I can get a connector for it? None on eBay that I can see :(

Think I might have to just buy a new stalk with a connector, and route it the same way the old one was. What a fook on just to put a cassette player in!
