    master cylinder leak

i have noticed this today . One of the connections coming from the
brake fluid reservoir going into the master cylinder appeard to have a slight leak as per picture .

Is it just likely the rubber bung that goes in there is worn and needs replacing ? The braking effort on the car does not seem to be affected at all by the way .

The rubber bung on some of the resevoirs in these cars is totally mashed, so thats worth checking. Get a spare from a scrappy if you ask at the desk before they poor the fluids out of them, they will keep a resevoir top for you if you know which one fits. They never charge me for stuff like this.
