Ktec rolling road day today, and general waffle.

I went along to Ktec today to see some of the guys from here and C16valver, pick up a Willy door and a JC5 as well, and some stuff for Robi.

I was really tired and have not been too well the last few weeks, so wasn't really in the mood, but as usual once mixed up with fellow petrol heads I was back in action and decided to run the car on Ktec's dyno at the end of the session. The induction roar in an enclosed area never fails to send tingles up my spine :D

I was interested to see the power with the bonnet still on (always been off in other tests) and in the colder conditions. It is a quick car but when you've had to drive about in endless traffic jams everyday, you forget just what a beastie it is. It's at 215.2bhp with 174.6lbft as of today's reading, which I am more than happy with as a daily driver as I can still comfortably use it happily in everyday conditions, going shopping and commuting to work

This month: swap out box and get mine sorted out and check the gripper diff.

    Next month: Ye Olde Bodyshoppe!

    Fun fun fun :D

Thanks to Ktec and the C16V gang for inviting old Wobba along today! Big thanks to 16v_Paddy for driving my gearbox and door all over the country too!

I'd say zmasters face in the same situation as in the pic is a whole new level in scariness, even more so if you're seeing the "situation" live & in person
