    Aux water pump manual switch

I am thinking of wiring in a switch for the electrical water pump. As mine is on an emerald ECU it is not wired in. I dont like the idea of hotspots being allowed to sit there when the engine is switched off.

What voltage does the pump need and how do I wire it in. I imagine it is not hard to wire in a switch for it?

Why has it been disconnected? As far as i know the electrical waterpump is not controlled by the ECU....
I run a stand alone ECU and mine works.

You could probably put back in the various relays running the fan and pump?

Yea ok, will look at that. Stan didn't wire it back in.

The reason I want it back is the car is sometimes very hot when I switch off and so I allow the main fan to run a bit then turn the engine on again to get the pump to move the hot spots about and cool it down. Not ideal.
