Drivers seat f****d!

My Williams 2 drivers seat won't lock into position, height-wise. I can adjust it, but as soon as I sit on it it falls all the way to the bottom position and has an inch or two of movement there so it is like being sat on a trampoline! Any common problems/fixes?! [/quote]

Sounds like you stripped some teeth on the height adjuster. Not sure if it can be repaired but new subframe can be bought. Meantime if you look underneath there are 2 strong springs, if you take them off it sits in the low position and least it doesnt feel like your at sea as you drive along!
