REemoval of rear spoiler

Hi all, the laquer on my rear spoiler is peeling and looks pretty crappy so i need to remove it so it can be re laquered, thing is i've removed a couple from a scrap yard and have never managed to get one of without snapping the clips or generally making a mess, any tricks or ideas??

You need to break the seal along the top edge, it's normally double sided tape.
Then twist upwards from the bottom.
