    Clean Williams

    Guys,

Now the williams is off the road during the week, i've been able to get the paint thats on the vehicle some where near decent. Ideally i'd love the car to be restored - but for the time being, i can't afford that. Trying to save up for our first house atm

Anyway, went out tonight and find a really nice location, that made full use of the falling sun.

    Comments welcome as always

    Regards,
    Jamie

    looking good mate!

looks like its in great condition. are the arches all solid and cills etc?

only 3 things id personally change, phase 1 williams lights, phase 1 boot strip and the exhaust seems to sick out along way.

    other than that...perfecto!

shh dont mentint the exhaust..its been driving him banana's him trying to get it not to knock But looks like you will need to get the angle grinder out Jamie and shorten it.
Think those phase 1 boot strips are un-obtainable but did I read somewhere that Northy has a workaround for that?
I have some phase one rear lights and 1 front yellow fog lamp. There yours if you want them mate, come to donni or cover the postage.Clearing out the garage myself as am looking for a new home also

I have two phase one lights, but when I bought it was slightly cracked, I couldn't get a phase one rear mounted, so decided to get a phase two 4 rear, authentic it may not be, but it's much better than broken parts.

The exhaust is ok, I think there will probably be some movement in that, I'd rather not take an angle grinder to it. I'm still kind of debating whether to go standard, then I press the loud pedal and that's left my mind.

The arches and sills are all solid, however there is light corrosion on the arches, but it's so minimal, doesn't seem to be getting any worse either. The car isn't mint, it needs two new doors, a new boot lid as they have corrosion, again only light, but I want it right. To look at the car, it looks mint, but as you all know they all have there faults or charm/character as I call it.
