How about a live chat bit such as mirc using either mirc itself or a java based chat window, great for those live slanging matches if they get out of hand then a channel op can boot the cause from the room.

Errrr well one person at a time chat i spose but with mirc everyone can all chat at the same time, easy fileshare facility too.

msn isnt one person at a time??? u can have conferences on there with as many people as u like! weve had a few on there with people on this site!

As FATBOY said it's not one at a time. You just invite people into the conversation. As many as you like.

Point taken i just felt that it would be easier on one big screen no need to invite or wait to confirm contacts, having used both i prefer the ease of mirc but its one more proggy to run in the background i guess even though my mirc is running 24/7.
