i have been trying to sell my williams wheels and people keep asking me if they are the magnisum type from a cup car.my question is did clio cup cars have mags on them? or is this just a rumor

Magnesium wheels have magnesium stamped on them like the speedline text, afaik

I've got some cup car Williams wheels.
Whats the difference between these and standard Willy wheels other than the fact they don't have the recesses for centre caps?

Nothing.
The rumour was they are lighter but that is not the case.

No renault badge
Year date stamps on front of wheel. Should be a 1992 / 1993.

i'd love to get a small metal sample off them to work, compare the composition of each alloy purely to put this one to bed on not just a weight point but composition also
