    Part Identification

You know those black pipe's that are located on the right hand side of the head that appear to run coolant through them? Does anyone know what there called and have an idea on price or part number?
    Thanks!

    They're just coolant pipes.

Someone will be able to get you a part number from dialogys, but you'll need to specify whether you want the oil cooled or non oil cooled version, as that pipe will differ depending on whether you've got the Renault oil cooler fitted.

Ok got them off to have a better look.

Standard cooler i reckon. The metal pipes are not so bad, just need a cleaning and spray.

You know those oil coolers some lads are fitting, well how do they work exactly? i mean do they have a separate pump or do they continue to feed off the existing system?

think i got this figured out by reading through some old posts. essentially it is a heat transfer unit behind the filter to allow oil to get up to temp quicker, not really a cooler.
did notice on my long drives that the oil temp would go way up, but very much depending on the type of oil being used.
