megane 220mm clutch

Hello. I'm Ricardo, I'm from Portugal and I own a r5gtt with a turbo f7r engine...
I'm currently instaling an omex ecu, and replacing the clio flywheel for the megane f7r one, as this one have the 60-2 tooth patern needed for the omex and a bigger clutch... but here is were my problem starts. someone told me the megane 220mm clutch wont fit inside the clio 16v jb3 gearbox casing .
is this true? I was thinking the casings from jb5 jb3 were identical in diameter!!!

Not true.

Meggy and Willy/Valver flywheel are almost identical, just the meganne uses a larger portion of the flywheel for contact area.

They are 215mm btw ;)

And they also fit perfectly inside any JB1/3 or JC5 gearbox. So dont worry

If that were the case, everyone on standalone would be ****ed
