Hi all,

Im seeking some advice. My Willy box is whining and I have checked the oil and its full. I can only presume that the gearbox is on its way out. I saw this box for sale and have asked for gearbox numbers. Renault have confirmed that this is the right type of gearbox, but due to not having the reg number of the car it was originally from cannot confirm that it is genuinly a willy box.

Its in Epsom not a million miles away from me, so i may pop down to have a look. What should i be weary of. It is claimed to have been reconditioned.

Also what is the value of something like this. I appreciate that its what ever your willing to pay for it but as an approximate figure please.

hmmm, my SUPPOSED Willy box that was infact nothing like a Willy box had 2.0 crudely written on in yellow crayon too... wonder if it's the same chap... cos i'll kill him where he stands if hes the twat that put that box in my car
