Scrap/Broken Valver or Williams Fuel Pump

Anyone got one (Ph2)? Casing needs to be intact but not bothered if its not working - want to try something with it...

    Thanks.

Do the phase 2's have the plastic housing fixed in the tank like the phase ones have, to help with surge...?

Was thinking of using a phase 2 combined fuel gauge / pump unit where the current phase one fuel level sender unit is and blanking off the other side where the current pick up / pump unit is. Location is better for eliminating surge i believe...

Ph2 just has the single unit, accessible from in the rear of the car.

Dont need to drop the whole tank to change the pump etc..

The reason I want a housing from a Ph2 is im hoping the 172 pump (internal unit itself) will fit inside the casing, as the wiring/connector/dimentions seem the same. Its higher power and more than likely more reliable than the 190k mile pump im using at the moment!
