    Our Williams

Did some mechanical work on it over the winter, gearbox refurb, new head gasket, new bearings etc and more but here are a few pics of the work and some taken yesterday and the day before in the good weather!

It looks fantastic! Well done! Good job doing your own head gasket, and bottom end as well I see.

No, she's still original. I just look out for any stone chips and remove any rust before it spreads over the inside lip. The paintwork is all still original, there are quite a few chips on the front of the bonnet but I've just touched them up carefully. I thought about having the front of the bonnet painted a year or so ago but decided I'd rather live with them than ruin its originality.

You have done extremely well to keep it looking so fresh! Have you had the wheels done, I can see why it looks like she has a big grin on her face driving it!

Thanks! Had the wheels done early last year, don't think they are 100% the correct colour but they are very close. They are great cars to drive, always bring a smile to your face!!

Really happy with the condition of the engine when we took it to pieces, hardly showing any signs of wear, changed the bearings just to be safe while the engine was out. They all seem to be strong engines from what I've seen on the forum, well happy with the pressure now!
