the cost of cams depends on if u get a kit or just cams, thats new billet cams btw, ie kent rn2002 are around £390 for cams alone and about 600 for a kit which has followers and timing disc/lube etc, cant tell u on fitting side as i did mine myself

    looking at-
    cams £400 or
    cam kit £600
    vernier pulleys £160ish
    cambelt £30?
then a remap £350 (if thats what u want)

plus all fitting costs mate, but gives u a rough idea on parts alone

How hard are they to fit? I imagine you just take out the old and in with the new Then you have to time them up??

piece of piss to fit mate......need new cambelt and gaskets, and seals.....but easy

timing is a diff matter tho..needs a r/r sesh to get the ultimate out of em, but can be static timed

dont listen to 2 live, what would he know, his car's standard ;)

but in all seriousness they do make a pretty big difference, but i'd get some 15 inch wheels as well and have it map'd etc running the normal 15's for the strip etc...
