Whats the best / highest powered starter you can get for and F7R with megane flywheel ?

Will a 172 on fit ? it this rated at a higher power as the 172 has a higher compression ration than the williams etc ?

not sure about higher power, but the 172 starter will fit the gearbox/flywheel

the only thing you'll have to check is the exhaust.

you cannot fit an f7r starter motor to an f4r because the solenoid is on the side and hits the exhaust.

because of this, the solenoid on the f4r starter is on the top. not sure if there's room on an f7r, but can't see how there would be any less less room with the weedy mk1 manifold :P
