172 / 182 rear caliper upgrade

Has anyone ever experimented and tryed to stick a 172 style rear caliper on the mk1.

Sick of usless handbreaks and vics 172 is always great.

i have a friend who has 172 calipers on his valver. straight fit ;) and locks even on dry

does it use the standard williams hand brake cables ?

you have a bias valve anyway so nothing would change there. Only differance i have seen is a better lever design for the handbrake

can the standard bias valve be adjusted???

if so why do people by AP racing bias valves etc???

I've just bought some new mk1 rear callipers

gonna be pissed if 172 ones are better! :(
