is it a good idea to start the turbo up in these conditions, after hes been coverd in snow for like a week now? or should i wait for the snow to melt completely?

I'd start mine ( if it would bloody go! ) with no worries
More chance of issues when it melts tbh due to water, so may as well start it and run it till it more or less dries out now.
