    Tyres

i know this crops up all the time but the keyword just swamps any attempt at a forum search, maybe a sticky thread needs to be set up?

anyway just a few thoughts on tyres wanted

what are original williams out the factory tyres? not fitment, make and model and can they still be got? if not whats the closest alternative in tread pattern?

michelin pilot exalto 2's are rediculously expensive in 185/55 fitment, 80quid a corner from camskill, but only 50 quid in 195/50, most annoying! dont tell me these are the closest

The williams came out with 185/55 michelin pilot hx...descontinuated product..195/50 is the best choice in 15" wheels..

I believe Kleber Dynaxer use the old HX moulds, or are at least a very close match.

Currently I'm rolling on 185/55 Federals, because I'm cool.

My last set of PE2's lasted 25k miles, which I think is excellent.

If you want Michelin then the PE2's are your only option I'm afraid... as Smokey says the Kleber's use the orginal mould pattern from the Pilot HX's...
