How Do I Get This Badboy Off...

    As per title.

The thing behind Oil Filter. Dont know the name for it. Is it a big mahosive socket? 24mm is biggest I had, and too small!!

    AND

Can I use the sump off my 1.8 on the F7R?

Few more pics of progress from today for those who are bored. Pretty much whole engine stripped now. Just need to get crank out. Should be tomorrow.

the first one is a oil cooler, just have to measure it and go buy a decent socket which fits

and you can use the sump off the 1.8 providing you have the plastic baffles to match as there is different versions and some wont fit without the correct one, my sump on my f7r is off the old 1.8 engine i had.

    Cheers :D

Should be ok as its still attached to the F7P. So all necessary should be in there.

Only reason Im going down this route is the one on me F7P is practically brand new so makes more sense to use this one.

sorry forgot about your question there .
dont really have to buy a socket if you have a decent pair of mole grips
