These pictures have been posted before so apologies But I am a great believer in powder coating ~~ It is hard wearing, durable ~~ and covers a multitude of sins ie noe time consuming rubbing down etc, just pay your money and get the job done
It looks good and there are a wide range of colours ~~ not to dear either
I hope this gives you food for thought

heres mine in the bay
powder coating for the win!
Same as the others have said above... Powdercoating is the way to go. Not expensive and a very durable finish that should stop it rusting again for many years to come - I don't plan on taking it off the car again in a hurry! Here's how mine looks now:
Looks amazing^^^
Did you just marry that up to see what it looked like or did you actually attach all ancillaries with the subframe attached bare like that?
Is that lower strut brace worth it? Notice any difference? Suppose its difficult to go back and try and remember what it was like without it...
I did the marrying up in the house first:
But it was then all too heavy to offer up to the car and bolt it on like that so took all the bits off again and just bolted the subframe alone on first Then bolted the other bits back onto it one by one. Was quite an enjoyable weekend finally putting bits back onto the car, rather than the months of stripping it all off, cleaning, painting, etc.
Will be hard to tell what effect the lower brace has - it's been over 3 years since I have driven the car and there isn't much that I haven't altered in that time - shocks, widetrack, poly bushes, manual rack are all going to make it feel quite different too!
Ive just been quoted £80 to get my subframe powdercoated.
Phone round a few places today locally.
Is this a reasonable price?
Wherabouts are you 1995Clio ??
