    Gearbox cable removal

Hi does any one have any hints or tips on how to remove the speedo cable on the rear of the gearbox on a williams 2. I have been trying to remove this for over an hour with no luck. such a simple problem. Any help would be great

You need to squeeze the 2 tabs together quite hard & pull at the same time

Cilmb on top of the engine and make sure you pull it out perfectly straight, some of them refuse to move unless you are pulling it dead straight.

It helps to rigorously wiggle the cable from side to side for a while first to help free it up, spin it around a bit too.

Comes out eventually and you'll fall backwards!

Soak in lots of WD40 too.
The built up grime is whats holding it.
