ANY ONE GOT A LAID UP INSURANCE POLICY?

i have been lucky enough to be given a company car (although it is a 1 116i bmw which is rubbish ) and now the clio doesnt have to be driven every day so what i am planing on doing is taking it off the road for 6ish months and then doing all the work that needs doing then bringing it back next year all lovely. i have spoken to a few insurance companies to sort out a 'laid up' policy but no one does it!

Does anyone have one of these if so who did you get it through and approx how much would i be looking at paying?

    thanks in advance dave
