Front susp' struts and springs

Hey all. Failed the MOT last friday on the top strut bearing. Bought the part, stripped down the suspension strut and the dampner rubber is billy bolloxed. So i've decided to get new struts and springs...

I don't want to pay stupid prices, but i want fairly good quality ones.
I got a price from renault for the struts, like £60each, which im happy with. But the standard springs, are £80each... which im not. Where can i get some decent standard height springs?

Also i could do with a new compensator as thats seized up... i looked to getting it leverd off and working again, but it seems to have had its day..

try 2nd hand 172 springs lower mileage same spec, bias valve ecp about 90 quid

i have tried the GSF valver ones, but they seem to lower the car about 40mm :S

but they are about £80 for the pair rather then each so its an option

bump on the springs.... More info needed. 172springs.. What do they compare like to williams springs.. price wise?

They are exactly the same spring, but more widely available 2nd hand.
