I'm sure this has been covered before but.... to preserve my blood pressure and the quantity of skin on my knuckles, what is the best method and/or type of filter wrench to use to remove the bitch of an oil filter???

depends when it was last done, but i can get mine off using the rubber glove method, but first time i used a chain as it was stuck big time!

And my old valver i used the screw driver trick.

Just remember if you do that you must make sure you have the right filter to go back on :P
