you could try ybracing, they are an OMP dealer

    http://www.ybracing.co.uk/page1.php

they do the inox on their ebay page for the 172

although some people have had long waits and issues when buying things from them, i personally have never had any problems

    or maybe try Kam racing?

The group n and a exhausts had silencers in different places to match the characteristics of either the 1.8 or 2 litre engine.

One had a rear silencer but no centre section the other a centre section but no rear silencer.

So make sure you get the right one for your engine. They are NOT the same.

all i am really after is a back box with the "pea shooter" style tip. smmes harder than i 1st thought.

would a custom exhaust centre sort what im after? are they to be trusted?

    cheers, will

Rally cars run mild steel exhausts (usually) because the expansion and contraction properties are better suited to car exhausts than stainless. The disadvantage is they rust like a standard exhaust.

The worls rally cars ran an exhaust with a fat tip and it was facing downwards like this:

    Clicky maxi car
