    am i gonna get shot if i f4r the williams ???

    just discovered the girl who had the car before me only ever put water in the header tank for 4 years !!! so may have some corroded water jacket action going on [which explains the blocked heater matrix]. another mate still has the f4r from his 172cup laying around . newer engine cheaper on parts and more readily available so seems like a good idea but ......... its a series one

    172 cup ancillaries are no good, you'd need ph1 items

    engine is fine though :D

    wicked ! no bad press so far lol i really begrudge doing it but the increase in reliability and power keep swaying me !!!! lets keep the thread open and see what other people say but its becoming more viable

    i've put an F4R in a cup racer shell, some people would say that's sacrilege too

    i think it's awesome, when it works

    personally I prefere the drive/powerband from the f7r. with the f4r you have to rev it past 5k to get any kind of power. below that and its quite tame.
