Right then as im the furthest south ill prob be leaving at about 6ish maybe even sooner.

Multimap says to go up the m1? Is this the quickest route peeps??

Anyone want to join us on route will be great, ill be with a couple of williams, i.e summeh and wobba anyway... Would be good to get a good convoy arriving from the south.... :D

NO !!! best route for us from southampton is:

M3, A34, A43, that then take us under the m1 and towards corby.

Ok well had no idea what route to take.

What time shall we leave matt?

Google is saying 3 hours... but that time of the morning it should take 2 max. It's 132 miles the A34 route (shortest). We should aim to leave 5.30am really assuming we have captain slow with us, that we if we stick to 70 we get there for 7.30. I'd like to get there a bit before really tho, so suggest with our normal pace and leaving at 5.30-5.45.

Depends on how slow we have to go though.

'Captain Slow' as you both fondly refer to me as, will be coming in my own car hopefully, and unlike my supreme speed on track I wont be going all out attack on the public road just to get there! I am sure I can manage 70 mph though ;)

Yea but in all honesty we shouldnt be faffing around at that time in the morning, and still keeping to like 50mph

so im thinking i want to convoy with you guys instead of the clio16valver lot so if im coming from gloucestershire i will now be going east across country then north instead of tother way round (north then east)

ive been studying the stars, atmospheric pressure and aa route finder and we will cross paths when the a40 cross's the a34. so my request is can u guys drop off the a34 at woodstock roundabout which is probably marked yarnton?! dont quote me there. theres a services on that roundabout where i can be waiting. what time do u think you guys would be cruising past that part of the world?
