i need to change my flywheel to megane or 172 and dont want to take the engine back out as there is more work involved with the turbo etc........................has anyone taken it out wiyhout the engine???

You can drop the subframe and slide the gearbox over.
That will give you room to remove the clutch and thus change the flywheel.

what's the difference between a valver flywheel a willy one and a megane one
megane has different/bigger clutch and a 60/2 trigger pattern thats much better when running standalone management
Thus heavier and more rotational mass... inertia? Not good for racing cars? they tend to have small flywheels and small clutches...
isnt the flywheel the same size though, just has a different facing to it and different bolt hole locations for clutch?
