Im a lucky bastard!

this afternoon.....Ill change my oil etc.....jacked the car up using beam across subframe....an rest wheels on large blocks of timber.

Laid out carpet..as you do......laughed as broke my hand into three pieces so i could touch ...let alone twist the filter...you know how it is.

I put two fingers on the filter.........AND IT MOVED.....i coudnt believe it''.....within two seconds it was off and on the deck..........Im lucky in the removal.....and why it wasnt leaking......and why it didnt spin off..drivin it back from weston s mare?

The filter is a........Purflux l s 309........with renault printed on it

ive bought one of those "pipercross"...oil filters with the nut on the end......ive got to say it went on easy and just pinched her up with a spanner.............job done..............er ....i forgot to get the oil... .....oh sh...t
