Dont know if this has been mentioned on here yet but they seem to have stoped making Eagle F1s in both clio dimensions 195 and 185.
Im gutted about this because i think these tyres totaly rule!
What will everyone turn to now?

Yea I know, asked black circles and camskill yesterday :( I asked about R888's instead
What are R888 like for road use though, are they ok in the wet? What is the wear rate like, I might get a set of these once the F1's have worn out...
not sure but would tend to use them as summer tyres.
ask coops he runs them.. :D
Seems to me that 15" performance tyres may well be being phased out then if this is the case. Would anyone like to comment on that!?
Unless goodyear introduce another newer model. Couldnt see them doing that though. I mean, what cars come with 15" wheels in this day and age..
There are still other tyres out there, I just liked my butch looking F1's :(
hopefully they'll do their new asymmetrics in the lower sizesOriginally Posted by 1995clio16v
My eagle f1s have been on there since i bought the car and are therefore part of the experience for me. I dont like change.
Plus, no tread pattern looks anywhere near as good!
I never liked the F1's after I only got about 4k out of them (if that) lol
PE2's are very very good, TR1's aren't bad either. R888's are non comparable though, different type of tyre, but GDI's demo car (KT53) runs the GG's and they last damn well. They are also better in the wet than a road tyre, just so long as there is no standing water, in which case it gets very scary lol
