    Supercharger - todays driving experience

Okay, the question on anyone who's interested lips is: "so what's it like"
    Simple answer is... AMAZING!

Forget the install itself for a moment, that's incredible and can be seen in the other thread, so how does it drive?

Set off to South Wales today for a friends birthday, so had a good mix of motorway and A/B road blasts. I've only covered 100 miles, but these are the most fun miles I have ever done, and half of them were from the passenger seat with Danny driving!

The first 20 miles I drove were just normal speeds on regular roads, so I stuck to all the limits and never hit full throttle... reason being that simply touching the pedal where a normal car would overrun, it just ****s off alarmingly quick. Once I got onto the motorway I decided to get it into 2nd on the slip road and give it some and the power was instantly there and I was upto silly speeds before I knew it... oops, better back off a bit! It's a bit of a shock to the system as it accelerates faster than I was expecting, but the delivery was amazingly smooth and it didn't break traction once... which is promising!

Onto the motorway and overtaking is simply effortless as the power is just there and it's instant and builds very smoothly and insanely quick... Tickle the throttle on the overrun point and again, it just hooks up and ****s off! I'd honestly say that slightly accelerating in 5th was a fair bit quicker than dropping it into 4th and pinning it when it was on ITB's, which is simply astonishing! 3rd gear at low rpm feels quicker than 2nd used to be, but the crazy thing is that EVERY gear is usable and while it's very quick, it's still easy to drive and even MPG was decent! It used practically no fuel going there, so I gave Dan the green light to thrash the crap out of it on the way back... well abuse it he did (good man!!!) and it still managed over 100 miles from half a tank :D

Sadly we didn't get any boy racer types to play with on the way back and had resigned ourselves to the fact that it just wasn't going to happen... que Mr Moneybags in his 350bhp rep mobile... toyed with and dispatched with relative ease, then again we were just playing with him in 5th when 4th was also available to use

All in all made up! Whenever I put my foot down it went from 6 to midnight and it's simply a pleasure to drive! I've still got adrenaline running through me now, it really is a rush, but I cant begin to explain how much of a giant killer it now is... with ITB's I loved it and it was VERY quick, now it's simply mind blowingly quick with such a nice delivery so it's not (that) scary. Watching the needle move is quite amusing also, the speedo moves as fast as the rev counter lol.

The usual suspects will get to see it soon enough and some even drive it... I'll let them post a report as obviously mine will be seen as biased by a cynical few, but it's absolutely brilliant and I couldn't be happier... oh, I no longer want 400bhp either, it's brutally fast as it is to be honest!

Its amazing how figures soon get put in to perspective. when you finally drive them...400bhp would be silly!!

Sounds like your chuffed to bits with it...good effort.
