    Roof Lining Glue Removal

    tar is coming off a treat from floor pan, but the stuff on the inside of the roof appears to be a bit tougher whatever it is

    how have people removed it?

    stanley blade and elbow grease it is then, cheers yooooof

    i used a stanley scraper then a electric sander to get rest off, did same for that silly fluf strips on rear arches

    northy you mentioned about the original lining strengthening the chassis which i know about but if you have a cage you really dont need the original lining back up do you? i only ask as mines coming off soon for when the cage goes in and was wondering how gentle i need to be :D

    you dont need it back up, but when you wash the car the roof will bend alot easier than it did with the lining up.

    I have the lining up and cage in my race car !
