    sound deadening

Right fellas, i wanna devote next weekend to removing all the sound deadening from the williams, i can see there is a load of it under the bench seats, anyone know where theres any more lurking around lol.
Also what is the best way at removing it? just a hot air gun?
    Thanks

In the doors, in the scuttle panel and some other odd places too.

Do the underside of the car if you are really hardcore.

Plenty of tar stuff to come out from under the rear seats and under the carpet in the boot:

Hot air gun and a scraper worked well, with petrol used to clean the residue off. There are also some heavy 'pads' of foamy material under the carpet below the front seats, transmission tunnel and footwell which are quite easy to remove plus some behind the dash which is a lot more difficult to get to!
