Went to a few garages the other day to get allan's cat off his car and decat putting on (cat bolts siezed on)... anyway a couple of places said no, we're not interested in that, or too busy...
third place we tried the guy started fobbing us off with some excuse that a decat will screw with ure ECU !! what a tard ! like its not gonna fry your ecu is it , lol ! :D

either angle grind the heads off the bolts or hammer a socket over them, much easier, i woudl use new bolts anyways, you need about 30mm M8's and a washer each side, so 4 30xM8 bolts, and 8 M8 washers

I just sawed through the bolts.....took a few hours....
might wanna get some new seals for either end too.....if the cats not been removed before. I found i needed them cos they'd got old and crappy
