    1/4 miling

    Is it just me on here that doesnt see the attraction of this?

    i've never done it, but would like to do just to see how quick my car is running.

    well people tend to have traffic light races dont they against similar powered cars! so why not do it on track where your not gonna crash or get done by the police!

    also its good fun if you have a bit of a sleeper and waste a few bigger cars!

    personally i think its damn good fun! and it does require a lot of driver skill and it also gives a good idea of how quick your car is. a 1/4 mile time can say a lot about a car.

    try it, you might be pleasently suprised!

    Must just be me, but i dont race off the lights either. Very occasionally (although i did everytime i was in a car when i worked at Avis, but it wasnt my car). I really cant see any skill in it. Maybe im just talented. All i cant see is that if mashes your clutch and gearbox. And we went through a fair few of them at Avis

    Ah Avis cars don't u just love them....Rachel's Mum used to run one and I used to help out the odd Saturday delivering...what fun it was....
