    Hydraulic Lifters/Tappets

    Hi People,

Im in the process of changing the tappets in my Engine, the head started being very tappety when warm, after some oil issues.

I have recieved a set of new (16) from Trechii via ebay. however only 3 of the 16 "Bounce" as they should. The others are rock solid, a few of these spin but the others are so tight they wont even do that,

Are they supposed to be like this or are the sposed to have some spring in them?
(you need to bounce them to prime and bleed them of air).

Do these come primed or do I have to prime them in oil first?

Also, what do I need to reseal the cam followers the the lower part of the head? Any recommendations?

Do cams reseat themselves in the correct position or can I screw it up when putting them back on?

I told my mechanic about these on ebay but he said there must be something wrong with them as they should be around £15 per tappet?

OE prices, yes. Several people have used Trechii's tappets and found them to be perfect.
