gearbox problem

got a 1.8 16v the day it needs a gearbox.i was wondering would a different box fit eg laguna or 21 or diesel.can any1 help.

another 1.8 16v box is teh cheapest option, can be had for around £50 if you wait your time, although some jokers ask stupid money, best box is a jc5 off a williams.

Other boxes will fit, R19 16v, 172 ph1 with manual speedo drive, some megane boxes fit too iirc.

I've got a mint JB3 gearbox for sale but i wouldn't sell it for £50!

Worth far more to me than that.
