    blower broken.,.,.

    hello...

    My blower went this morning...VERY annoying and COLD!! I've looked in thte fuse box nut the fuses don't seem to be labelled - any idea which one I should check? If it's not that any ideas where I should look next?

    can that stop the heater fan working then? I'll check tonight.

    I should have asked first whether it doesnt work at all or if it just blows out cold air?? If it blows out cold air then its likely there may not be any coolant in ur header tank...

    Or it could be ur heater matrix which i beleive is a fiddly job!!

    ahhh I see. There's no air at all... I hope it's a fuse then!! I don't fancy replacing the matrix....

    Well the fuse i believe is the 9th along....i have a 20 amp in mine! And mine is nice and toasty......sorry ( )

    Either that or it is the relays in the heater blower itself. It's like a square plug thing with elements in it that allows you to use the 3 variable speeds on the fan.

    It's easy to source one and replace it though, just a pain in the arse at this time of year. I just got a whole motor with the relays attached, took off skuttle panel and wipers, gave the whole skuttle area a really good clean and even hoovered it, replace dead fan motor, fixed wipers, refurbished skuttle panel, job done.

    Ive just replaced the brushes in my merc heater motor, did the trick.
