Hi all got a recon gearbox off fleabay the lad was not sure if it was for a valver or williams so will a valver box fit on williams? I know williams is JC5, is the valver a JB3? Cant remember

I know it will bolt on but its the drive shafts that im concerned about........ EDIT BUTTON!!!!

Is there much difference in gear ratios? Im thinking that will be the way to find out if its a valver or williams box once its fitted.

As i understand it, 5th is longer on the willy box. plus the willy box is meant to be a little stronger

Hope it aint no lower geared as the Willy top out on rev limiter at 135mph.
