Clio Cup race engine

Blue-printed 1.8 16v. Specifically built by Renaultsport in france for the Clio Cup race series int he 90's.
Make 150bhp from RS.

In very good working order. was rebuilt a couple of years back, and has seen sod all use since.

you have any other details on the spec Stan?

i.e. rev limit, torque, whats been done to the engine to produce the extra power

also does it come with the ecu?

The spec is lightened/blanaced throughout, all internal parts weight matched, probably tighter piston/bore clearance.

I havnt got the original RS ECU, no, but you can buy the chip from ebay france (or at least you could 6months ago). I think AndyFielder had a copy also.

Its a very sweet engine...

straiht swap with a valver lump....i.e ecu work with it?

yup std valver ecu works fine..

Tbh we didnt notice much of a difference on the std valver ecu, it seemed that it was just the rev limit which was different.
