    front brake disks

    will be changing my front brake disks in next few weeks, were is best place to get a set from, GSF??, RENO??........also is there anything else thats worth doing while I'm changing them, other than pads....?

    this guy done for me front drilled and grooved discs.....rear drilled and grooved discs......new rear bearings in rear discs pressed in anal..........mintex pads all round and postage to ireland for £185 i thaught that was pretty good....

    agreed , grooved & drilled stuff are deffo worth it .
    for standard discs it really does not matter where you buy them
    from .cheaper the better .

    you can change /replace flexi brake hoses if you see they
    are cracked etc .
    for pads my personal favourite is cheap trw stuff for daily road use .

    avoid gsf for discs imho.

    i have had 3 sets of warped discs.

    Unless you are desperate to save weight at the expense of longevity then I'd avoid drilled discs as they tend to crack around the holes (unless the holes are actually cast, which I doubt you'd get on any Clio discs as its an expensive process!)
