    Box Issues Still

right this weekend did the following to the williams in attempt to salvage hope of the box being okay

    1. swapped linkage and short shift kit off it and out standard linkage back on, including gearbox part. set it up.

    2. checked over top gearbox and engine mounts, found loose bolt on top box mount, but only 1 and no evidence of it moving, tightened it

    3. replaced dogbone for one i had in shed with rotated bush

    4. checked box oil, shitloads in it

    still does it

what its doing is it doesnt crunch or grind into 3rd but it feels like its kind of snatching in, it doesnt slide in smoothly.....ahem

    thoughts?

    cheers

long shot I know, but what about the clutch arm or release bearing??

Had a similar problem on 1 of my other cars quite a while ago (FWD Corolla GT) the problem was the slave cylinder wasn't pushin the clutch fork enough to fully disengage the clutch

If thats no help I've got a JC5 box sat at home I'm trying to flog

you want a fair whack for that box tho dont you paddy lad? i was thinkin clutch setup, maybe pressure plate as it only seems to start after few miles of driving after the cars warm, i may do clutch cable aswell, eliminate that first

FILTH!!! I don't think I can handle much more innuendo need to lie down!

coops- I'm just being a greedy bastard with that box, not sure what its really worth tbh, if I manage to flog it for that much my meggy lump will have only cost me £50.
I'm not gonna use it so someone else might as well use it
