    Jittery movement

I've noticed a few problems that i thought i'd ask some advice on.

Firstly, the car's hard to push and it definitely slows quickly when off the accelerator - it doesn't roll down slight hills in neutral either. What's strange is that it will roll backward easily on steeper hills with the handbrake on? Checked front wheels plus bearings yesterday and they're fine presumably rear calipers or bearings? Any ideas?

Secondly, the car is very juttery if you take your foot of the gas in lower gears when accelerating. The gear stick moves quite noticeable too - shudders slightly forward and the engine makes repetitive quick farting noises as it slows back to the natural gear speed. One guy thought it might be the engine placement and the mounts but had them re-done. Any ideas?

    Thanks in advance

brakes are possibly binding and the other is more than likely a worn dogbone mounting on the engine/gearbox
