My old valver used to pop and bang loads with a decat and Magnex exhaust.
The same setup, minus PiperX cone filter, rarely pops.
Now, my theory is that I don't drive the Williams like the valver as to get the most out of the valver you had to rev it hard and thus there was more gas/potential vacuum in the exhaust than the Williams, which I don't need to thrash as much.
Now, the Willy has popped VERY loud only once, in Cornwall as I drove hard down a valley hill (the bang echoed round the valley, it was awesome hehe), but that was under hard acceleration.
Anyone else have any opinions?
