    rear beam removal

    is it easy? What's involved? :D

    Jack the back end up, axle stands on the chassis rails, then use the jack to support the weight of the beam otherwise you'll probably kill yourself or break some bones

    Disconnect the brake hoses, the find & undo the 4 bigass bolts, lower the jack- job done

    Can you uprate anything ? hear about replacing the bushes for roller bearings.

    what else can be done ?

    yes theres rubber bushes that can be replaced for roller bearings as on the maxi's plus there used to be different poundage bars available and an external additional anti roll bar..

    think the maxi had a different lighter weight steel tubular swing arm also compared to the group A version as well as a tubular front subframe...

    IIRC you can fit the torsion bars from a renault extra van which are stiffer.

    IIRC some dutch guy did it YEARS ago on here or Cliosport.
