Fitting of new water pipe in BE (F7P/R)

Need your help guys!

Got hold of a F7R BE.
Unfortunately water pipe in the BE was very corroded.

Pipe was difficult to get out - but its even more difficult fitting the new one.
As the pipe it self is angled its not possible just hitting it "gently" with a hammer......

Any advice appreciated

what i would personally do provided you are not short of space
is to fit a clamp over the straight
bit of the pipe than get 2 pieces of wood ,position them
behind the clamp in a symetrical way than beat the living daylights
out of them gently :D
might help using some grease as well

Issue sorted.

Used a hammer with a hard plastic head - with "gentle" persuasion i hammered the living daylights out of the pipe!!!

- hammer is no more......
Need to get a new one!
