    The Wheel Specialist Manchester

Been quoted about £60/wheel for a full refurb including polished lip and center cap refinish. Is this price OK and has anybody on here had any experience with this place?

That sounds about right I think.

Fred/lap-tab did mine at £40 a wheel I think, for powdercoating with cut back polished rim, but they weren't lacquered over the top of the polished rim.

The £60 includes refitting tyres and balancing. Do powder coated wheels normally need to be lacquered? I realise that the polished lip will need some form of protection to prevent oxidation.
