i dont own any std 16v/williams front calipers anymore so could anyone who has some spare just measure the piston diameter for me, outer edge to outer edge please.

You mean the metal part that presses onto the brake disc? One side I have just measured at 48.22mm and the other at 48.24mm.

sorry, meant presses on the brake PAD. You'd have some strange noises if it was pressing on the brake disc!

yeah thats it mate, just needed the diameter from outer edge to outer edge of the piston itself,
