My pride and joy willy 1 is really starting to hurt me.
Took it to mates workshop this week for a new clutch because it had a nasty rattle when the pedal was depressed. He took sub frame off and got the gearbox out and rang me to tell me my front panel is rotten in several place all the way through. My clutch cover had also fell apart and started to eat my gearbox casing. Im really starting to lose the will to carry on with the project. :(
On a plus note i managed to cut the front end off a 16v shell and claimed the bonnet for £35 quid which is a bargain.

Yeah tell me about it am considering cutting my losses and breaking it :(

bonnet any good ? + front bumper

if you can get the bits off a valver it will keep costs down

Bonnets white but is in very good condition, the bumper was already sold but the front panel was very tidy aswell

Just had welding done on mine - it hurt :(

I want to get the whole thing stripped and resprayed but that's ££££!

Thats what im trying to decide on at the moment. Strip it out engine and everthing and start again i think i could do it in 3 weeks if i dont go to work.
